Why do I do This?

When I turned 43 I had a change in my consciousness, and began to listen to the dreams I had as a child.

To that end once the house was sold I left for Asia, specifically Malaysia and fell in love with the simpler life, the Natural chemically unaltered food, and enjoyed the fact that I wasn't being pestered on the phone as I was cooking dinner by someone who wanted to sell me something. Another thing I enjoyed was watching the TV without being harassed by repetitive commercials about Allergy Pills, Hemmerrhoid Creams, or Pills that cure you of diseases which you never thought were possible, and yet in the West, we have a pill for it anyway. That benefit alone was well worth it!!!
I always felt that the pill-popping ways of the Western Culture were to say the least abusive, and other than profiting some large Multi-National Pharmaceutical company did very little to actually resolve your problem, relieve it temporarily, YES, but fix it, NEVER - that reason of course being that if they fixed your problem they wouldn't be able to sell all of this useless CRAP to you - in order to sustain their Profit Margins.

In fact, what I do and sell to earn my living is often referred to as jewellery. I find the term is an insult, as jewellery in the West consists of a nice gems and crystals encased in some metal, usually gold or silver to prevent the stone from ever touching your skin, and if it doesn't touch your skin none of the Healing Properties will ever benefit you. Consequently the manufacturers of jewellery have successfully led the vast majority of you to believe that there are no curative properties to the gemstones through deceit. I wonder if that was deliberate? WE wouldn't want you wearing something that would make you feel better naturally or relieved your problem - unless you took our pills; if that happened our sales and profits would fall!!!
I guess I'm on a bit of a Crusade but perhaps the reason is something someone said to me many years ago that irritated me to no end, in an email from Canada. "I'm busy, a group of people are Roasting me Tonight for all of the help I have given them." As I knew the person as a business acquaintance - I can only tell you this - the only people he ever helped was himself to other people's hard earned money. He was involved a fraudulent stock scheme which relieved thousands of people of Million of Dollars (myself included), caused them huge taxation problems - no-one ever saw a cent of their investment - and he had the audacity to make such a statement as though he had somehow provided many people with some Humanitarian Service. What an insult to decency!!! He was nothing less than a two bit criminal!!!

True help comes from the Heart - and the satisfaction I get is not the financial compensation for my product or research, the true reward is that I've eased someone from their Health Problem(s), that measure is always much greater than the material benefit. So why do I do this?
I realized how to get the healing powers from the crystals to benefit health, I use them and it allows me to pursue my passion and cover my basic expenses as well. I doubt I will ever get rich from this, at least not monetarily so, but my heart is in it, and there I get some true satisfaction as I love what I do, from the start of it to the end. Nothing can be more gratifying than having someone saying thank you - "I feel much better."
Most people work at dead-end jobs as they have no choice, a family to support, children to raise, provide and care for, they are too busy to do little other than make a living. But ask them, "Are you happy with your job?" You already know the answer - the vast majority of people are NOT at all happy with what they do. They do it because they have to - No job satisfaction.
Doing something because you truly love it is reward enough in itself. To make a living in anything you do - You need to be passionate - Love what you Do!!! I do, it gives me great satisfaction to think of something that will solve someone's health problem and then create it. If I haven't got the particular stone or gem for the cure that's needed I enjoy then the challenge of finding it - The Hunt is a much fun as the creation. For the Hunt allows me to travel, and when I travel I see new places and meet new people and some I can help along the way, that's worth it
The other thing I love about this is that I can often fix someone's problem that no doctor has - and I have countless times healed them of their afflictions, and simultaneously saved them from slavery to Pain-Killers, Sinus pills other pharmaceutical products that never cure, relieve them of bundles of their hard earned cash, and only temporarily pacify their affliction.

I just wish to point out that legitimate alternatives exist naturally which are safe, effective, affordable and there are no secret or addictive ingredients.

Necessity is the Mother of Invention - Truly it is, I awoke and began working on my crystals one June morning in 2006, and moments after indulging in my first coffee developed what I thought was a headcold. I had felt fine up until about the first half hour beyond my arrival to reality and the new day. Stunned and uncomfortable with the congestion I felt in my head I was also blowing my nose constantly. As I'm an addict to tobacco, I was not deterred from lighting up as usual, somehow the coffee just tastes better. Although I wasn't coughing, I was determined to research a cure. To that end I found what is pictured with this article a combination of Tiger Eye & Golden Needle Rutilated Crystal. Both of these stones in their own right are beneficial for colds, congestion and especially the lungs. Can there be anything more embarrassing than revealing your butt to your Doctor? Hate to say, been there, done that!!!
When I was younger and drank too much, coffee with "Coffee Mate" and later on too much beer my starch intake was abnormal. When I took the Medical for my company job in the hotel industry some 6 months after I had started the job and proven my abilities the Company Doctor told me I had too much starch in my bloodstream. As I've mentioned on multiple previous occasions the subject matter of my next work with crystals and gemstones is related to your health and it's connection to your birth - date. I have been theorizing and researching this link for over 3 years now and have found definite commonalities to certain health related problems which I will list below.
As this research combines both the energies of the Eastern and Western Astrological beliefs(both of which are incomplete on their own), I will list the years of the Snake which is part of the Eastern belief system which occurs in 12 year cycles based on the Chinese Lunar Calendar - and follows springtime each year at the time of Chinese New Year.
Snake Years are: 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989 & 2001 -
but most always a person born between January and March of the following years may be under this sign as persons born in the listed years in the latter 3 months or parts thereof might be of the preceding Chinese sign.
In this past week I have dealt with 3 individuals born in the Snake years, consequently made and delivered 3 bracelets which help with their unique dates of birth, some stones may be interchanged depending upon the sex of the person. For instance, I would rarely put a Moonstone on a Man's bracelet or necklace unless for spiritual purposes and requested specifically. However, Moonstone is valuable to correct degenerative afflictions which may affect the eyes, skin and hair - and is consequently useful for men with these issues.
The Snake is a Chinese Small Wood Element and its most beneficial stones fall in the following colour ranges - yellow, orange to red and green. The colour Blue is also recommended for this sign as the Snake requires peace of mind - which by the way I've included in each Snake combination since I accidentally stumbled on the correct way to address Diabetes.
Most beneficial stones for Snakes are: Jasper(s, Garnets, Agates, Citrine. Sodalite, Kyanite, Lapis*, Aquamarine*, Aventurine*, Moonstone* - *depends on health concerns, sex and or birth sign/month
Those born in Snake years have a pre-disposition to stress, high blood pressure, diabetes and a myriad on minor digestive issues which are common amongst those I've worked with, additionally there are sleep irregularities and overactive mind issues which keep the Snake up til the late hours of the morning before sleep can overcome them.
As pictured above you will one of the many possibilities to deal with the many issues that face the Snake. This combination deals with Diabetes, which most of them will and covers the full range of afflictions that I've mentioned above, digestive troubles, high blood pressure, insomnia, and facilitates peace of mind.
Melvin with whom I met on Friday had most of the above concerns, but his primary issues were sleep and digestive issues, both of which were dealt with on my immediate follow up with him. As a Scorpio his element is Water, so Hematite* was added to his bracelet in the Chinese System Hematite is also associated with Fire. In this particular instance Hematite is the most consistently recommended stone for the Scorpio as it enhances peace and is invaluable in relieving stress and insomnia.
His friend is a Leo with whom I will meet this week, I asked Melvin on Friday if he had skin problems and he advised me that he did. I have not yet met the friend, however, I prepared and constructed his bracelet as well, he was born in the same year and I was able accurately pinpoint his skin affliction by using his Western Astological association.
My first success with a person born in the year of the Snake was 2 years back, in 2007 when I quite by accident resolved Diabetes and was able to improve the quality of my friend's lif. When I was in Canada in the summer of 2008 his necklace broke which included his specific Western and Chinese Stones, I re-strung it upon my return - he told me that his health had seriously deteriorated without the use of his necklace. He is Diabetic and suffers from high blood pressure, flatulence and a myriad of other digestive difficulties which his piece had resolved to the point of his personal comfort.

Heat Stroke, Dehydration & Hypoglycemia

As I briefly mentioned the other day in my post on the gem hunt, I found Hematite which is useful for the prevention of Heat Stroke, what I omitted is that I also found Moss Agate.
When I had the time to work with my new stones yesterday I thought of combining Moss Agate with Hematite, which to me seemed a good idea, which proved to be a very worthwhile combination. I was sitting in the foyer of my hotel in Bangkok last evening with my Korean acquaintance whom I'd had the pleasure of meeting a few days back. As we began to talk he expressed some concern about his girlfriend who has low energy levels, so I discussed a natural cure for her which I was certain would help her. Normally low energy levels can be attributed to lack of iron or oxygen in the blood, moreso for the female members of the population. Acute Sinusitis

Most cases of acute sinusitis start with a common cold, which is caused by a virus. Colds can inflame your sinuses and cause symptoms of sinusitis. Both the cold and the sinus inflammation usually go away without treatment within 2 weeks. If the inflammation produced by the cold leads to a bacterial infection, however, then this infection is what health experts call acute sinusitis.

The inflammation caused by the cold results in swelling of the mucous membranes (linings) of your sinuses, and this can lead to air and mucus becoming trapped behind the narrowed openings of the sinuses. When mucus stays inside your sinuses and is unable to drain into your nose, it can become the source of nutrients (material that gives nourishment) for bacteria.

Most healthy people harbor bacteria, such as Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae, in the nose and throat, and the bacteria cause no problems. But when you have a cold, you tend to sniff or to blow your nose, and these actions cause pressure changes that can send bacteria inside the sinuses. If your sinuses then stop draining properly, bacteria that may have been living harmlessly in your nose or throat can begin to multiply in your sinuses, causing acute sinusitis.

People who suffer from allergies that affect the nose (like pollen allergy, also called hay fever), as well as people who may have chronic nasal symptoms not caused by allergy, are also prone to develop episodes of acute sinusitis. The chronic nasal problems cause the nasal membranes to swell, and the sinus passages become blocked in a manner similar to that described above for the common cold. The normally harmless bacteria in the nose and throat again lead to acute sinusitis.

Rarely, fungal infections can cause acute sinusitis. Although fungi are abundant in the environment, they usually are harmless to healthy people because the human body has a natural resistance to fungus. However, in people whose immune system is not functioning properly, fungus, such as Aspergillus, can cause acute sinusitis. (Aspergillus is commonly found growing on dead leaves, stored grain, compost piles, or in other decaying vegetation.)

In general, people who have reduced immune function (such as those with primary immune deficiency disease or HIV infection) or abnormalities in mucus secretion or mucus movement (such as those with cystic fibrosis) are more likely to suffer from sinusitis.
Chronic Sinusitis

In chronic sinusitis, the membranes of both the paranasal sinuses and the nose are thickened because they are constantly inflamed. Most experts now use the term "chronic rhinosinusitis" to describe this condition, and they also recommend that the condition be divided into rhinosinusitis with or without nasal polyps. Nasal polyps are grape-like growths of the sinus membranes that protrude into the sinuses or into the nasal passages. Polyps make it even more difficult for the sinuses to drain and for air to pass through the nose.

The causes of chronic sinusitis are largely unknown. The condition often occurs in people with asthma, the majority of whom have allergies. It is possible that constant exposure to inhaled allergens that are present year-round, such as house dust mites, pets, mold (a kind of fungus), and cockroaches cause chronic inflammation of the nose and the sinuses.

An allergic reaction to certain fungi may be responsible for at least some cases of chronic sinusitis; this condition is called "allergic fungal sinusitis." At least half of all people with chronic rhinosinusitis do not have allergies, however.

Most health experts believe that chronic rhinosinusitis is not an infectious disease (like acute sinusitis). If you suffer frequent episodes of acute sinusitis, however, you may be prone to develop chronic rhinosinusitis. Other causes of chronic rhinosinusitis may be an immune deficiency disorder (for example, primary immune deficiency disease or HIV infection) or an abnormality in the quality of mucus produced by the respiratory system (cystic fibrosis).

Another group of people who may develop chronic sinusitis are those with significant anatomic (structure) variations inside the nose, such as a deviated septum, that lead to blockage of mucus.

Protecting Your Health
I have a friend in Alaska who works in snow removal, a demanding job involving heavy lifting, Jake and I became friends through Yahoo Chat as did another good friend of mine in Hawaii. Both have some health issues to deal with. Jake is a smoker, a bit overweight as most of us are. Rob in Hawaii works as a tradesman in the field of carpentry, after many years of banging, pounding and hitting your own thumbs the odd time he has developed what I think to be Brescitis. a shoulder affliction involving joint damage as well as some connective tissue and muscular damage, I apologize if I've spelled the affliction name incorrectly as I could not find it in the dictionary. The only solution to numb the pain, in the 1980's - which was quite intense, was Cortizone injections, a steroid, which is only effective in relieving pain about a month at a cost then of $50 per injection. I am aware that this treatment is limited to 3 shots, as each additional injection the pain relieving ability of this drug is diminished, as I know, after injection number one the pain returns steadily up to and after the final treatment, rendering it a useless treatment ultimately, and in most cases will result in an operation. In today's $$$ I don't know what the translation would be, so I hope someone can apprise me of that, I would like to know!!! If you're doctor tells you that it's ok to keep on taking this after 3 injections, and you're in pain, start screaming, he's not working for YOU!!!!

Although many authors go so far as to make wild claims about the curative properties of crystals as it relates to various types of cancer, I am reluctant to make such claims.

My research and writings confirm that crystals do in fact work on a wide variety of common afflictions and in fact heal many ailments, however there is no substantive evidence that they can cure cancer. To make such statements I find is irresponsible and gives false hope to those in desperate situations. At most crystals may help to alleviate some of the mental anguish that accompanies this horrid affliction in Terminal cases.

Sugilite is said to help alleviate the fear of dying in cases of terminal cancer bringing peace, calm and facilitating acceptance of death alleviating feelings of despair. Additionally this of all stones is known as a pain reliever due to its high content of manganese. It is said to combat life-threatening diseases, and is invaluable for the treatment of Epilepsy and disorders of the body's Nervous System.

Obsidian is also mentioned in the treatment of Prostate Cancer, however I would personally be reluctant to make wild claims or provide anyone with false hopes.

Amongst the other properties of Sugilite and Obsidian I will list from memory some of their beneficial effects:

One of my favourite pieces, pleasant to view and reminds me of the beautiful young lady I met in Chiang Mai, Thailand last December when I was there for a gem hunt.

I guess it comes with the territory, I meet lots of people that Modern Medicine can't help, and they're desperate for a cure. Below I'll talk about a few of the people I know personally, and whom I've helped. Nature, and crystals I think are often overlooked for their healing properties as people by and large are trained to think that they're only items of jewellery or adornment. I believe there is some justification in people believing that. After all jewellers have gone out of their way to ensure that whatever curative powers a gemstone or crystal may have, will never be revealed or of any benefit to you as they'll never actually make contact with your skin.

I'd like to start by recounting a true story that happened many years ago, 1993, in Edinburgh Scotland. I was on a trip there and at a parting dinner with my hosts. The dinner was fine, Roast Beef, mashed potatoes and all the fixings, the head of the household Archie, prior to eating his meal layered his roast beef with salt, I watched in amazement as the salt continued to pour out of the shaker, wondering if there might be any left for my mashed potatoes when he was done.
